40 weeks and plus a few days

Your time is up!! 40 Weeks was May 27Th!! And Breken has not made his debut. What you think he might be a little shy to see all of us??? NO he is just taken his sweet little time and says hey I'm in control of this situation. Yes he sure is. Jaylyn has done so well with her pregnancy. The girl can't complain. But if June 3rd comes and he is still in a baking, well the heat is going to get turned down and he will have to make his appearance. The doctor won't let her go more then a week over due. So he has two more days....... if not sooner!! He just does not realize his Mi Mi wants to smooch his face and say hello!

And this is the baby's room. But for now its Brekens!!

Sealings and A Weddin!

So my brother Dave and my sister in-law were sealed in the Bountiful Temple. What a beautiful day it was. I'm so happy for the two of them. Families are everything. That primary song goes through my head Families can be together forever through Heavenly Fathers plan. And indeed we will be together for ever. I'm just so glad that Dave (my husband Dave) were able to fly to Utah and be apart of it. This is Dave and Suzanne greeting the grand kids as we came out the door.

~ Love~ Love~ the Tulips~

Is this just soo cute. Avery, Sawyer, Stetson the grand kids all to be with their Grandma and Grandpa ( aka grandma and grandpa dog, they have dogs at home only 4)

Here are some of their blended family for love and support!

Can this get any cuter! Tayler with Sawyer. This is my nieces husband with his son.

OK so this is part of our second half of the day! Kelsey's and Darrins wedding. She is my niece from my older brother Jeff. Kelsey and Darrin were married in Ogden at Mt. Ogden Park. It was a bit chilly for me, but hey I came from AZ with it being in the 90's already. It was like 60 degrees maybe. But the rain did stop for them to say I do!

This is Coen Kelsey's oldest boy standing all so handsome and being very good

This was a neat picture. This is my Uncle Jimmy my Mom's younger brother. He lives in Clinton. It was nice to have him there for the wedding and all my brothers and one sister.

My brother Jeff with Kellen and Coen.

Kellen's tux might be a bit big..

Mini Triathlon

David and I had the opportunity to take the youth of our ward to Pima Az to see the Gila Valley Temple open house. And also that weekend was a mini triathlon for the boy scouts that have them coming clear from New Mexico, Utah, Colorado...Wow! And they allowed girls to participate in it to. So I did have one of my young women who wanted to do the mini. And she brought a friend to be with her. So I even decided to to it. In summery, it was a fun trip. On the way up our suburban died. The engine blew up. Dave missed the open house, We both finished the mini!!

Here is our youth, young men, and the young men and the leaders who went. What an opportunity for the youth to see the Temple and learn about it!!

Here is ME, swimming in the pool with the water temp ahhh 60!!!! YES it was cold. I was not going to do this mini tri because of the water. But I bucked up and did it. It was only a 75 meter swim and decided I could do it! I had no shame, I lost my rhythm of swimming and walked the rest in! I'm tall and could do it! I have no shame!!

Getting ready for the bike ride.

The bike ride was only 6 miles.

Dave did a wonderful job at competing. We had to run 2 miles. He did great and was really proud of him! He did finish just a bit before me. I love ya Mr. Wright!

All Grown Up

I can't believe how grown up all these ladies are! Married, or just getting married, and some have children already. I was their Young Women leader different parts of their life when they were in Young Women's. They were between he ages of 14-18 give or take! And one is my daughter Janica. They were at my house for a baby shower for my younger daughter Jaylyn, which I was her Young Women leader as well. It's just so neat to see how they have grown, some have already had the opportunity to work in the Young Women's program. They are beautiful and out standing women!! I'm so happy that in some way or another I still get to keep tabs on how they are.

This is so pathetic, I had told Tawni at least 4 times to get off my clothes. She knows better!! I know she is a dog! But she is no dummy she gets it. She knows she does not belong there. Her bed is just below her with her blanket. She is just being naughty!! AND I am not a pig who keeps her clothes all over the couch to let her lay in them!! Just was a busy weekend and put things on the end of the couch knowing that I was going to put them away. Really its just some swimsuits that I bought through the mail and just set them there. But for some reason they felt soft to her! Well after the pic I took of her, I said Tawni, she looked up at me and I said move you don't belong there and you know it!! So she was a good baby and moved!! AND I have cleaned up my area so it won't happen again!!

Mothers Day

What a wonderful day I had for Mother's Day! It was another nice day. It was a little warm but nothing you can't live with. My day started out with calling Jaren for Mothers Day. And the kids came in and out with their own schedules with what time their sacrament started. Dave and Jess was actually the first ones at the house but almost last to talk. It was hard getting through. The lines are busy is what we got a lot. And then for some reason just a bad connection with just not hearing him well. But I believe everyone one got to talk and enjoy the phone visit with him. I was talking with him and got disconnected. Oh well hey in 6 weeks I will be able to see him!! Talk all I want. We are going to Argentina to pick him up. He is soooo excited for our trip there to see him. I felt bad for Cam and Janica, they did not have a long visit with him, they also got disconnected. Cam is the man though he gave Jaren so much encouragement to keep looking for that last person. Keep focused. And so did Jory!! It's hard knowing you have spent the last 2 years finding people to preach the gospel keeping focused and here its almost to the end and you really want to see home again. But in reality it's sad to leave the people you have become to love so much. It's a bitter sweet feeling. Hey what do I know, only through the eyes of the missionary I know sooo well!! But that was the first part of my day with being able to have my last phone call with Jaren. Dave and I did manage to make it to the last part of church. Hey I wanted to show of my Mothers Day outfit!!

I had Dave Hatch or aka "Hatch" take some pic's of us of my new out fit. It looked springy! Is that a word??

Ha had some serious moments with our picture taking

Out by the pool! Dave's most favorite place to be

Now on to the other good half of the day! Miss Brittney made the dessert for the day. She is getting soo good at making these cupcakes. They look so good you don't want to eat them. But they did taste ever sooo good!

Here is chef Dave and his side kick Hatch. You see chef Dave in his swimming suit??? Yep he was cooking took some breaks and then went for a dip in the pool.

Now he is cooking up fried chicken just like how my Mom used to cook chicken. And I will have to admit that chef Dave did a wonderful job in frying up that chicken.

My mother used to cook it up in a black skillet pan when I was a kid. She was well known for her fried chicken. She would fry up like over 60 pieces of chicken for a family reunion. We had her fried chicken when it was a Sunday dinner or something special. Sorry to say you need the skin on to make it taste sooo good. Crispy...yum yum

Dave was such the great cooker, he also whipped out some of his Grandma's potatoes salad!! And it was great! I don't like potato salad really all that much, but this recipe I will eat! Great traditions from past mothers. It was a great day. I soo loved having all the kids over and eat and enjoy their company. Those day's of when the kids were small and all the fun stuff they would make for me the cards from church, school projects I do miss. But their is joy as they are adult kids and the fun times we are able to share with one another and this day is a great way to pay tribute our mothers. How much fun it will be for me to see their own kids celebrate mothers day with their own mothers as well. I had much joy this Mothers Day. I feel so blessed. I'm so excited that in a few weeks I get to be a Grandma. And it was nice to ponder upon my own thoughts of my own mother who has passed on.
