OK beware there are a lot of updates for the month of May. And I need to learn how to post my pictures in the order I want them in. We are going backwards OK. End of May to the start. Its always better to go backwards right??

Well we headed off to Lake Powell for Memorial Day weekend. It was a cooler weekend then what we have experienced in the past. It rained all of Friday night and then it rained some more on Saturday. Even though it rained earlier, we did have a nice ride on Saturday afternoon. Sunday was a much better day.

Here are Jory and Brittney's friends. Barry, Megan,
Rayla, Britteny and Jory. Megan and
Rayla are Brittney's roommates.

I had
Tawni keep an eye on these two while they had a late morning nap because they got up
soo early that morning to go for a morning boat ride with
Rayla
I just love this pic of them two

Me and
Jaylynnie......

I just love this picture, its so pretty.

Here we are just coming back through castle rock. Its great to finally have this area open. It goes right to warm creek.

Mr. Wright looking so sexy....I love him!!

It may have been only like 72 degree's outside, but it felt good to get the sunscreen out and do some tanning!!!
~Next Stop is the Gun Show~

Now we are at the NRA gun show. So many guns to see and sample. It's every mans dream to see all those guns around.
This is Dave's booth that he was displaying. That is his Uncle Carlos who came to help him. Dave has been working on this project for over a year now. He has been spraying gun barrels and triggers and testing them when fired, to see how they hold up against the heat. Now you will have to ask him more of what it is all about, but he has been one busy man for like 2 to 3 months. He has been working from 7 am in the morning and doing his regular job, then working on this other process and not coming home till midnight. He had a great turn out and a lot of interest in his process. We shall see how it comes along. He has named his new business Gunwright. Dave Hatch has been working with him a lot and helping him do the shooting of the guns to do the testing of them.

We had a banquet the night before the show at the Phoenix Civic Plaza. It was a very nice dinner. Grandpa helped a little on Friday, but went not feeling well. He came home that evening and ended up in the emergency room and stayed in the hospital until that following Tuesday, and then they both flew home. Not a fun visit for either of them . He had a bowel obstruction again. He is doing much better being home. But it was nice they did come to help support David.

This is David with the VP of the NRA. He was making rounds at all the tables at he banquet. His name is Wayne La Pierre. David was so excited to have his picture taken with him.
~Now on to Mothers Day~

Jory has a hard time being serious!!

Yes we do love each other-and are not afraid to show it!!

We had a lovely day for Mothers Day. We went to sacrament in our ward.
Jaylyn and Jacob, and Jory came with us. Then we headed over to Jory and Brittney's ward, at the singles ward, where Brittney was giving a talk. Brittney's parents were in town for the weekend. It was really nice that she was with her Mom on Mother's Day, and she was able to speak about Mothers.
Unfortunately, her parents had to leave right away to go back home to UT. So after church we, or I should say David got
KFC and we had a picnic in the back yard. We were able to talk with
Jaren Phil as well. Forty minutes is not long enough. But, we still enjoyed our visit with him. He is really enjoying his mission and speaks Spanish
sooo well.
~Thermal Spray Conference~

This is David ASLEEP playing his game on his phone. We are in
Las Vegas for a Thermal Spray Conference and we were out late that night!

We are at New York New York in front of this bar. There were two piano players singing along with a group of people who were inside singing along with them. Dave and I were entertained by all the drunks that would pass by, and all the people that parade up and down this little area. It really is quite entertaining. It was the drunk girls in very high heels that would just crack us up. They just don't do that well standing up.

OK now we are in UT. This is in my brother David and sister-in-law Suzanne's front yard. I love the spring time in Utah. All the pretty flowers.

This is down town Ogden Utah looking down the boulevard!! Yes this is the place where Dave and I met dragging the
vard!!! I took this picture cause its the 1st of May and look at the snow on the mountains. How awesome.

The family with Cam after he graduated. Grandma made him the money necklace out of dollar bills. He was so cute with it on.

This is Cam's family. His mom Laurie, his Dad Ron, and brother Nick.
Rayce was there but not in the picture.

Cam's number one supporter!

Cam earned his
BSN. I'm so proud of him and what he has accomplished with going to school full time and then going to work full time. He is
sooo smart!! Now he is
applying for more schooling. He wants to go further and do a nurse anesthetist program. Ha lets hope I spelled that right! WE love you Cam the man!!!
