FOREVER STRONG

Dave and I went to see this movie tonight. Its a family movie. I just loved it. I cried in allot of parts of this movie. It has strong message to the young adults, Adults as well. I just loved it. Its a great family home activity to go and see. We need more movies like this out there. We need to get everyone out to see it. Its not getting big publicity as the bigger movies that are coming out. But this movie should. Its nationwide as of yesterday. You can go to Rugbymovie.com and see the trailer to it. I know you will want to see it. Its bast on true events that happened in UT.

Hello get out of my way! Thursday night is my night!

OK the season for TV is in full swing! I don't think that I watch allot of TV but I do have my favorites, like the Hills, Road Rules, Ghost Whisper, BUT Thursday night is my ultimate night to watch TV. We are soooo very fortunate that we do have two TV's. Cause no one would like mama if we only had one! So the kick off for Survivor was last night. Ah two hrs of it. My ultimate favorite. THEN we get a new ER. Well I was so hyped and into the Survivor game, then switch over and by the end of the show Dave and I are crying. Well maybe more me....but that show had me on the edge of the couch. Pratt died. Ah man I hate that when that happens. You just really get into the characters. But they have me hooked to come back in 2 weeks with a new episode! So if you call my house on a Thursday night, so sorry I won't answer the phone! Leave a message!

Dave The Bishop is released

OK on Sunday the 14Th of Sept, Dave was released as Bishop of our ward. He was Bishop for 7yrs. And he was a counselor for 2 yrs before that. So he has been gone for 9yrs! I will have some one to sit with now on Sundays again. But being released is not all that easy. The process is hard. One day you are taking care of your flock, and then your not. How do you stop those feelings and carry on. Dave has had a hard time with that. We have a great Bishop who replaced Dave. He will do such a great job. In the mean time Dave will be home more to tantalize me. I have been on my own for so long that I will have to get used to him on my own space as well. But we do have projects that we want to do. Ones that I have been waiting for 7yrs! But he has his guns, hunting, quading, the list goes on that he will have more time to think and do! So hurrah to my David for a job well done as the Bishop.

I love Lake powell!

OK This is my first attempt to do a blog. I'm excited but I have no clue as to what the hec I'm doing. But Im so excited to finally be doing this so that I can keep in contact with other family members who blog as well. I love to see what they are doing in their corner of the world now they can see mine. OK so first off I love LAKE POWELL! I just got back this past weekend of being there for a few days. We left our boat there over labor day weekend, and I said to David lets just leave it one more time so that we can come back up again. We have a houseboat on a slip so its easy for us to go and stay in the slip if we want to. And then enjoy boating Lake Powell. This is the first time that I have been there in the month of Sept. Ah it was wonderful. The water temp was like 78 but he air temp was a littler cooler. Like 83. I did get wet one day. I had to get really hot to get in the water. In the month of July and Aug its like almost 100 degrees and its no problem to jump in the water an cool down. I love its beauty it posses. I can see it every yr time and time again and I never get bored of seeing it. I love to go on boat rides and go to dangling rope and feed the fish ice cream and see them smoke! haha They eat the ice cream and it comes out their gills. ok easy things can entertain me. I miss it when the kids are not there with us. We just play hard water skiing and wake boarding. So we are done for the yr I suppose till next spring. When its January I just can't wait till we go again.
