HaLlOwEeN

So Halloween is here!!! Ah I can't believe how fast these months are just going by!! Blink and you might miss something. It has been really bugging me that I have nothing around in the apt to show that its Halloween. Really have no idea as to where the decorations are packed at. So Friday I was with my friend Cheryl and we got done at the gym and she needed to go to Wal-mart and get some Halloween stuff and she asked me if I wanted to come. YES!! I want to get some pumpkins and carve them. So that I can feel somewhat of this favorite Holiday to come!! I have such favorite memories with the kids, one comes to mind is when Janica was about 9 or 10 and she dressed up as a witch. She has the perfect hair for it!! Green face, sprayed her hair black, cute witch out fit, and she went around the house saying "he he he, he he he" Sooo Cute! Well now we have to look forward to our granny kids coming to our house for Halloween one day!! I felt better carving our pumpkins Dave and I and displaying them outside our 3rd floor where we live! Ahhh no one can see them but I really don't care, it was for me!!

Ok these have nothing to do with Halloween!! Dave and I just love them. They were on the counter when we were carving so I had to take a pic!! YUM YUM!
Can you guess which one Dave carved?? HA not the nice one. He did the scull looking one. He is always attracted to those so I said to him you have to do that one!

OK Halloween night we went to my Friend Cheryl's house to watch the kids come Trick or Treating and so see her kids and her grand kids as well. This is Connor!!! We should have made him smile so that we could see his pearly white teeth!!! He did well on his costume!!

These cute little munchkins are Cheryl's grand kids. Gavin the pirate, and Garrett the devil!! They belong to her daughter Tonya. They had a fun night for Halloween! And we took them down the street to a few house to trick or treat. I love to do that with the kids.

Garrett!

Gavin!
After we were done with the Trick or Treating we came in and had pizza and wings. A fun night!!

Brittney's Birthday

October 22 was Brittney's birthday. So Jory and Brittney celebrated together with some of her friends and family. So we chose to spend it with them on Saturday night and went to dinner. We went to Texas Road House. Nice place to eat dinner. They have the best rolls there. Its a runner up to if you live in Brigham City UT where Maddox is and they have the best rolls as well!!

So against all of our wishes at the table.... David had the guy that was going around blowing up balloons and making them into animals for the children in the restaurant and we felt a Little more grown up I suppose...so he made some adult type balloons for the the new to be newly weds. Perfect!! handcuffs and a whip!!

And Dave got one made for him too!! We had a great night and it was fun to celebrate a new family members birthday!! HaPpY BiRtHdaY Brittney!

This is my Sister in law Suzanne's grand baby Avery. Angie is her mom. This little girl is an absolute doll!! Now we have a movie star on hand. I pulled out my camera and she knows how to pose!!! She is little spit fire!! She is in her fun terrible two's!!

I don't think her mama knew that she was helping replant the plant and playing in the dirt

Now this is Cash Avery's little brother. He was born in May. OK he is such a good baby!! And I mean a good baby. All he does is smile and talk to you!! He is sooo handsome! Just loving holding him.

Janica and Avery

This is Suzanne opening her birthday gift with Avery helping her
Here is Grandpa Dog. That's what his grand kids call him. Dave and Suzanne have 4 dogs that are their kids. Haily, Buster, Sage, Mae. So that's how the grand kids distinguish what grandparent they are. But Dave is my twin brother. He is holding Cash. He is growing his hair out for the locks of love. What a great guy he is.

Visiting

I made a visit to Utah this past weekend to JUST visit with Janica and Granny( Dave's Mom) It was a fun visit because I was able to celebrate Grandpa Wright's birthday. His birthday is on the 10th of October. Dave's mom and I was able to go shopping for a dress on Thursday. We were looking for a dress for Jory's wedding. Its fun to have a new dress for such a fun occasion. I have to say that for this time of the year it sucks for looking for a dress. Not much was out. But we were able to find one in Dillard's but the customer service for Dillard's left me much dismay that I really don't want to shop there again. I had to call on my own to a store in El Paso Texas to order a dress from that store and have it shipped to Dave's moms house. The lady at Dillard's said they would not answer the phone so I needed to call them. Wow with so many people out of a job you would think that she wants to keep her job!!! SO I did call and hopefully it comes and it will fit her. Grandpa wanted to celebrate his birthday at Warrens in Roy. We all ordered a Sunday or ice cream cone to celebrate. And then on Sunday Cheri blessed her baby Chyanne. It was fun to be at both events.

The Birthday Boy!! He turned 72!!

Bear Hunt Camping

Dave and I went "Bear" hunting for conference weekend. It was nice to get out of the warm summer that has been lingering on for a long time as it seems. We went to Hannegan Meadow again. We went their last yr to camp and also bear hunt to. Dave was out with his quad on Saturday morning and went on a road that he hunted a lot on last yr, well he came across some other hunters and they got to chit chatting and said the road that he was on that a bear just passed on it, and Dave also heard other hunters out there with their dogs that treed it. He was soo disappointed that he did not get to the bear first. Oh well there is next yr. He is going hunting here in a few weeks for elk to help a friend out and he is going to take his son out and do some more bear looking. This is David's favorite time of the yr to hunt. I just like to camp and read a book. I'm reading the Twilight book again and then New Moon so that when the new movie comes out in November I will be caught up to speed again. I just love those books.

I took this picture about dusk time, it reminds me of Halloween!!

This is one of the first deers we saw when we were out riding in the afternoon.

Some of the fall colors, I was hoping to see more but was happy with this.

This is the second deer we saw, she was just posing so good for me.
