Happy Birthday Janica

Happy Birthday Janica!! Your a whopping 27! I hope that today you have a wonderful day. You are wishing that it won't snow on your birthday, but in Arizona the sun shines so brightly like you do. You are a amazing person. You amaze me with how wise and considerate you are to others. When you were born you only weighed 3lbs and 110z. You were a fighter to come home with your mom and dad. It only took you 3 1/2 weeks to do it. Your siblings look up to you Jancia.
Happy Birthday my dear oldest one!

James Otto comcert

Dave Hatch had some tickets to go to this concert on Valentines day. Where he works they promote the concert and is able to take out clients and stuff. So we were able to go to this concert with him and Jess and Jory and some of his friends also came. Now I'm not a country girl, I'm a little hip hop so I really did not know who this guy was. I was just excited to go to a concert. We all ate dinner before we went. Oh and the neat thing was that there was a few other people playing along with James Otto. A guy named Harley. He is one on David's customers son who is trying out the country business. But sadly dinner took so long because everybody was out eating that night and took for ever to get our food that we missed seeing this kid Harley play. But heard he was good. But we all had the opportunity to have the best front row seats there. Actually we stood in front of the stage. So we were really close!! Jory kept telling me you will recognize this one song when he sings it. Well I did. Jory has us listing to CMT when he gets home from work every day that I did recognize the song. James Otto has been playing for awhile but is coming up in the ranks of country. I really did enjoy his music. It was absolutely fun to get our pictures taken with him to. So a big thanks to Dave and Jess for taking us.

Bike ride #2

Today I went on another bike ride with Cheryl. And I must report that I stayed on my bike! No mishapes at all. I was a little more prepared for our bike ride. I got some gloves which really made the difference of my hands not getting sore.(and just in case if I fell again.) And I bought a more cushy pad for my seat so my butt won't be so so sore! And that did help. And the drum roll of how many miles we did today!!.......27 miles and burned 1556 calories!!! YA! It was a fun ride again. We went to Lehi. Ended up on Gilbert road that goes to the bush highway. We biked some miles today. I wonder where we will end up next week.

I just had to share these one more time. These flowers are week old from valentines. They are my "oh my gosh" flowers. I indeed have really enjoyed them for a whole week. Mr. Wright is so wonderful to me.

Celebrating Jay's & Jacob's Birthdays

On Sunday we celebrated Jaylyn's and Jacob's birthdays. Jacobs is Feb 8th. Then Jay's valentines day. So we had our Sunday dinner. We had Dave and Jess come over to. Jaylyn requested for her birthday dinner to have b-que chicken with the b-que sauce on it. (which we never do) and mashed potatoes and corn on the cob!! It was a fantastic dinner. Jess doctored up the mashed potatoes with seasonings. Ah they were good. We got the corn on the cob from Costco. Then I went to Dairy Queen and got a ice cream cake for the both of them. We had a really fun time together. Now I'm sure some of my readers are thinking that their might be something wrong with Jacob. Cause of his bald head. Nope Nada. He likes to shave his head from time to time.

I'm so glad that you were able to be born on Valentines Day. I hope that you enjoy your day today. You have grown up into such a wonderful person. So caring and loving towards your siblings. Your nickname with your dad is Jaybabylyn. And some others are "Check attitdude" I'm thankful that you came to our family. Happy Birthday my little Miss!

OH MY GOSH

So yesterday at about 10am the doorbell rings and I was upstairs in my room just being completely lazy trying to decide what I was going to start to work on, and I was not dressed just in my g's so I ran to the front bedroom to see who it might be. And I saw a van and thought maybe it was a package cause sometimes Fed-Ex comes in a plan white van. So I ran back to my room to get my robe, then I hear a knock and trying so fast to get to the door. So I open the door and I just say "Oh My Gosh!" WOW. This is what I saw the man holding. And he just chuckled at me and I had to sign my name. And brought the flowers in and just stood in amazement of how beautiful they looked. I just loved the vase they were in. But the arrangement was done so nice as well.

So Dave came home and saw what he had got for me and was in amazement as I was. He just said that he wanted me to enjoy my valentines a few days before and then after to. I said Thank You. Then he is laughing and said when he ordered them the lady said well what package would you like? There is the basic...then the upgrade....and then the "Oh My Gosh"! Dave said the Oh My Gosh one. I was just laughing so hard because I said when I opened the door my first words were "Oh My Gosh"! So he did a really good job with my flowers!!

A beautiful Day for a bike ride.....

Today was a beautiful day for a bike ride! The weather was so nice. It was like in the low 80's. Gotta love it when its that kind of temperature. So my friend Cheryl rides her bike by her self allot. And she invited me weeks ago to go with her. Well I got my bike back from Dave Hatch. David had to do some minor work like change the tube in the back tire and lower my seat. It was a awesome ride.

Cheryl took us down the canals to ride. We left on Brown road and went to Greenfield. Then went south and headed to Power road and went to Elliot. Then back north to Val Vista and Brown where she lives.

Some parts of the canal are paved. I found that to be very nice on my booty. The ride is much smoother to your fanny when you have not rode your bike in like 8 yrs. Cheryl and I used to go through Tempe into Scottsdale years ago.

Its a very peaceful to ride through the canals. I saw two bunnies. And you get to see what's in peoples back yards as well.

Now this is the fun part of the ride. Ha road rash!! I fell off my bike. Or maybe thrown off!! We were heading down the street and was going up on a curb. Well Cheryl was smart and made it. Well Pamela found it not so funny skidding my body across the cement! My bike did not make the curb so well. It was a tad big, and I hit it at a different angle and just well lost control and did a body slam. I'm sure it was pure entertainment for those riding in the car behind me, and across the street as well. Cheryl new something was wrong when out of my sweet mouth came the word S**T. Yes I can spell. You know the word. Cheryl was so kind to come and help me and make sure I was ok. It took me a minute to think I was ok. Then I said hey take a picture of this!! Then we just laughed and laughed. I did feel better after a laugh.

I wanted this picture to look like I was in sooo much pain. Well I was in pain. Just the fact your a grown women on the ground looking like a fool. Well Jaren this is for you!!! "But what happened" I believe I have a sprained wrist. It swelled up when I got home. Road rash on my knee and shoulder. But my bike survived the crash to! We rode 20 miles today!! AND I can't wait to do it again next week with Cheryl.

I love the Cardinals

Ok we all know know how the game turned out! Cardinals 23 Steelers 27. It was a great game. I loved it. Its probably the first game for the super bowl that I sat through the whole game. Some added interest I'm sure. But we are still winners. I believed in the Cardinals. And even though we did not walk away with the super bowl title, we walked away with the chance that we just played there. The underdogs we were. But I still "Believe". Next year will be a great one to see how we do. They have come along way from what they used to be. Be ready the Cardinals will come out charging. I love # 11. He wanted it soo bad! Fitzgerald. And by damn he played well!!!

We went over to the Baker's home. Jeanette and Ryan. With Roberto and Liz. It was so much fun to be with their kids, Sonya, Troy, and Olivia. We left their house about 10 minutes left in the game. Ah we listened to the game on the way home on the radio. I prefer watching it on TV. But I was so glad we were home when in the last 2 1/2 minutes left Fitzgerald made a touch down which put us 3 points ahead. WOW Dave and I just screamed and howled soo soo loud, I'm sure we would have scared their kids!! Tawni our dog was howling at us, and we did scare her. I picked her up and she was shaking. I get so emotionally into the game. Dave always laughs at me. But this game will always be remembered. The Cardinals went to the super bowl 2009!! What a game !
