In June we went to Barbados for a week. We had decided that we wanted to pick a island in the Caribbean and spend a week there. So Barbados was our first choice. We went with Cheryl and Laci and Liz and Roberto. We stayed in a really nice condo on the beach. We had a cook come on and fix us breakfast and dinner everyday. The weather was not bad. Its humid. And June is not a tourist time to be there. So it was not packed with people. We had beautiful weather every day.

This was a fun place to visit and take a tour and learn how they make Rum in Barbados. This place has been running since the 1700's So much history to learn about
Streets of Barbados
We rented a car for one day and decided to take a tour of other parts of the island
We went to this cave called flower cave. It was amazing to be in on the inside of it
We went to a plantation home called St. Nicholas Abby
Built in the 1600 And they made rum as well and still do We seen all the furniture that they bought from then till now. So much history there as well

This is the other side of Barbados and the water is much more rougher. Nobody was swimming in it.
We ended back in a little town called Oinsteins and had fish again. We did this when we first arrived in Barbados on a Friday night. It was so busy on a Friday. This was actually my birthday. Well spent day.

The sunsets there are gorgeous. We had the opportunity to see this every night from our balcony.
In the evening time can you hear the sounds of frogs.

My Pictures kinda got back wards around. We stayed our first night in Barbados in a small town. I forgot what it was called.
Oisteins Barbados
On our way back to the airport at 5am we had a car accident. We had angles watching over us. It could have been worse. We all walked away un injured.
This is the other car that was involved in the accident. It was his fault in hitting us. We understand that he had a broken leg and other injuries.
