Ending June Happenings!

 On to Celebrating a little of Fathers day early. Dave was going to be out of town on Fathers day. So we went to dinner before he went. We went to Joe's Farm Grill just off of Higley and Ray! Great place to eat!

 Dave did a great job for my birthday. My birthday falled on Fathers day this year. So I got these the day before. Soo Beautiful 

 Love me some Easton! 

 So with Dave gone for my Birthday and gone for Fathers day, the day was really quite. So Jaren came over later in the evening and we went to Jory's and Britt's place after they got home from camping for the weekend. So this was my cake! Caramel popcorn. Yum!

 This was the neatest thing both Jory and his Dad got that Brittney made for Fathers Day! Just beautiful

 I hae been mentioning to the kids that I wanted a little table for the kids to play and sit with. So Brittney and Jory found this at Ikea! I love it!

 Brittney and I bought some strawberry's from Bountiful Baskets and we made freezer jam! Yum is all I can say. The last picture is Easton finally giving in. He was tired.

 This is Dave's passion gun's! He and the boys set up at the place you turn in applications for hunting. It was the last day to turn them in. So they set up a booth and displayed what Dave can do with the gun barrels to make the performance better. 

Think we have had a busy month?? Well we just roll from one thing to another! Dave got home from N. Carolina June 21st and then we left the 22nd to Lake Powell. It was a couple trip. We had only 4 couples go this year. We had two cancel out right at the end. To late to invite anyone else. But we went to Rainbow Bridge and did a big day trip. Ahh it was fun!

 We had a theme night, It was the 60's I believe. We were at Woodstock!! Fun night!! I did not have my camera out the whole night so I did not get all the picks. But the rest are on our day trip we did. 

I have said it a million times I can see lake powell every year and see the same things but I never get sick of it. I just love Lake Powell!!

Breken's Bruise

Breken is in his terrible 2 stage. Tantrums, screaming. Well one day when Dave and I had got done with our workout we were out front talking and watching him play. He ended up by the ditch and was wanting to sit right next to it. Well I said no way. And Dave was trying to pull him away. Well he thinks he is going to do what HE wants to do. But I talk with him and tell him that this is not a place to play and that he had to come further away from it. Nope he was not going to do it. He kept telling us NO....well this is where you have to be in charge and not the 2 yr old. Which he thinks he is in charge and he is going to do what he wants. Well Dave left and I was still trying to talk with him. And then I just picked him up and he was screaming NO....Well I took him by the front door and put him down and tell him we need to go in. Still screaming. Well he also likes the game of running away. Soo I start chasing him and pick him up and swing him toward my hip and he just turns around and just dives out of my hands right to the ground face down!! It happened soo fast. Well I pick him up cause all I was thinking that he lost his front teeth, broke his nose, banged his head. Ahh I was so frantic about it. I just held him close to me while he was trying to cry. He was like in shock and was holding his breath cause he hit hard. I started to breath in his face and telling to breath breath. Then he finally took a breath and screamed. I yelled for David to come and look at him. Ha no blood!! His teeth were ok. Nose was ok and his head was ok....Oh he screamed and cried. But what he did hit was his cheek. Jaylyn was smart and right off and we gave him ibuprofen. And it took him a half hour to calm down. And all in all it did bruise but not as bad as I thought it was going to. He is one tough little boy.

Jaren's & Brekens Birthdays

Jaren for his birthday wanted to go to California to celebrate his birthday. So we went to Cam and Jancia's house to play for the weekend. It was a quick weekend trip but worth it. Jaren wanted to go to the beach and play with Cam! 

So we chose Santa Monica Peir to go to. That's the same beach we went to for Janica's birthday to. I was a little worried that it was going to be really cold again. On our way we did stop at a Target to get a SD card for  my camera and I did get a light jacket and some leggings so my legs would not be cold. I was going to be prepared. 

Well the day surprised us all. The cloudiness burned off with in a half hour of being there and it was a beautiul day to be at the beach. It was still in the upper 60's but with the sun on you it felt great. By mid afternoon it was in the low 70's.

To end the night for his birthday  we went to a place called 1810. They serve Argentine food. OK was Jaren in heaven??!! YES!! It was really good food. I did not get a picture of us eating but Jaren was in heaven with the empanadas. This place was down in Pasadena near Jancia's place. 

This was the last day. We took Jaren to the Groves in LA Its a farmers market and shopping. I love the shops there. 

Now we are on to Brekens birthday. Jaren's birthday was the 1st of June and Breken's is the 3rd. So when we got home from our weekend trip we celebrated on Monday for the both of them. We barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs.

Breken just loves to be in the pool and swim!

Last year for Breken's 1st birthday Cam and Janica was with us and Cam with his talents of cake decorating help Jaylyn last yr. Well Jaylyn has talent all on her own, she did a great job making and decorating Breken's b-day cake. Breken loves Thomas the train. 

So both of the boys shared a cake. Jaren did not mind Thomas the train....And you can see the number two for Breken and then we added 3 candles to make 23 for Jaren....

Jaren is saying I'm full I ate the whole thing! Cake and ice cream 

Birthday boy with his presents. He also loves cars. This is what his Mimi and Papa got for him. It was funny during the day he was with me shopping for his presents. He got to play with them before his party. I saw a friend from church and she was shopping for her little grandson to. I was laughing and telling her that Breken gets to play with his toys while shopping  then when we get home he will go down for a nap and forget what he got and get to reopen and play with them. It worked!
