My Brother Dave and Suzanne came for a warm Arizona visit! It snowed at home this weekend. It was conference weekend. We we went to a junk yard for a tour!! I can't remember what the show is that David watches but he wanted to go see it. It was way up in Cave Creek. Fun drive. And I have to admit it was fun to look at all the old old cars around. Boys know their trucks and cars. But I have to give credit to Miss Suzanne she knows her cars to!! Dave and Suzanne have a 1949 chev truck. Names Hazel. Its sweet!! and it runs. So Dave was looking for some stuff for it by chance if they had it.
Then of course we end up at the Harley store!! Go figure!! I have the best of David's. I have my Brother David and my husband David!! And they are both my better half!! Cuz my brother Dave is my twin!! And I hate this pic of me, I look really fat!! Must be the angle.
Then we went to Famous Dave's for a birthday lunch for Suzanne!! We got to celebrate her birthday with us in Arizona!! Ya!
Then later in the evening we celebrated with all the kids and had a barbecue and enjoyed each others company
We really did interact with each other...
And Brittney made this fabulous cake!! Lemon cake. Its sooo yummy!
Then the last day Sunday we headed to Jory's place for a visit before the airport. Got to visit with the boys!
Love me some Bridger
So after Dave and I dropped off Dave and Suzanne, We decided to spend the rest of the day enjoying how nice it was. So we went and got the jeep. I made some really yummy sandwiches and headed toward the desert and went looking to do some target practicing. Well that was more for David. But it was a fun ride to head out. We have to suck up and really enjoy this nice weather we have for the month of October.
Soooo David saw some quail and he shot some. I said we are not prepared to clean them up. So I said just leave them. I KNOW they will get eaton!! Coyote's.....
It was so dry out there. We had the dust really following us
Dave is looking for them gophers to target practice with. Fun evening we had together!
And a GREAT weekend with family!
