Memorial Day Weekend

We started of our holiday weekend with doing some chores. We needed to get the weeds pulled going up our road and by the trailers. Not a hard job but many hands make the load lighter and faster. So I had the boys Jaren, Jory, and Cam and Janica helped Dave and I with pulling them out. Its not a fun chore but its done. Then Brittney came with Easton and Bridger for a little cool off swim!! 

 This big little guy is soo sweet!! Loved having him for a visit!!

  So Saturday night Jaren was having a B-day party for him and one of his friends Ashley. So I have been wanting to put some fun lights up in the yard. So I let Davids creative mind figure it out of how it can work with hanging them up

 this is the results. He still has more lights to put up over the pool but its so fun to have. I love it

Then Memorial Day we went boating!! Ahh this time we had Breken with us. The last time he was on the boat was when he was just one. He had some adjusting to get used to but in the end this little guy had fun. And so did all of us. Its fun to go and relax and just cool off. Surprisingly it was not crowded. Great day to be on the lake.

 Then as we were just sitting and talking David spots these long horn sheep! Wow what a sight to see. We sat and watched them for over a half hour. Cam had my camera and got some really great pictures of them.

 Then we went back to the spot we were last week boating and saw this baby eagle on the ledge of the nest. We did find the Mom further down on a ledge. 

And this is how we ended our day. Eating chinese food. This is what we did when the kids were smaller and we would go boating and we would get chinese food. Jory and Britt came and ate with us. Bridger is too small for boating but not for eating....well he has his Mama's food for now.. But what a great weekend with the kids!!
