San Francisco

David and I went to San Francisco a few weeks ago for business. It was the ITSA...International Thermal Spray Association. They meet about once or twice a year. Dave is Vice Chair. Two years ago we meet in Hawaii!! That was fun. So it's really fun that I have the opportunity to go and support and they do have some activity's for the wives or co-workers that go. It's a very neat organization. So off we go to San Francisco. The last time David and I were there was back in 1998. And it was just for a weekend for our Anniversary. So we only had one day to really spend there. So I was really excited for this trip because we had some alone time before the meetings began, and then I would not see David for a few days!!

Our Plane was delayed about an hour so David was kind in sharing his I pod with me and listening to some music!

So Tuesday after when we finally arrived we did some walking around before dark. This sub was soo big.

I wonder if Dave can park this boat. Its a little bigger than our houseboat!

That cable car was so much fun to ride

Loved this tulips in the background. So spring feeling

Alcatraz is in the background

We went to dinner on the Pier at Neptune's Palace. Do you think Mr. Wright was happy???!!
Fresh crab is always good

Dave took this picture while we were having dinner. The sunset was so pretty.

Street entertainment!

David has a hard time NOT thinking of work!! On the phone with a customer, then Jory, then who knows. I just walked around amusing myself

The streets of San Francisco

This is Telegraph Hill. And a serious hill. I believe I'm a fit person, but it took my breath away a couple of times. But this climb up the hill was so gorgeous.

A nice little pic up the path

Telegraph Hill takes you to Coit Tower. What a awesome view at the top. So worth it.

This is Coit Tower. It was built in like 1920's. We took an elevator all the way to the top.

We walked so much. It's just amazing how steep the streets can be.

So nice to see these sea lions just catching some warm sun rays

David said that his Grandfather had a shop in this building with his photographs that he took. His name was Gene Wright. And he was a well known photographer in San Francisco.

This was a neat site to see. It's called Lombard Street. Its just amazing how you see these homes along the path.

This is the path walking up Lombard street. It's another long up hill walk!

At the top of Lombard Street. I really want to go back and do more site seeing. There is just so much history in San Fransisco. We just only had a day and a half with each other before he had his meetings but it was really fun with what we got to see with each other. We walked off our booty's for sure. And we were so lucky to have great weather. We did have a dinner boat ride on Saturday night with just only the group. So much fun. But I some how forgot our two camera's. But I can say that I have been underneath the Golden Gate Bridge!! It was so much fun to see if from a big boat. Saw the Bay Bridge to. And went over to the AT&T ball fields to see the ball park where the San Francisco Giants were playing a game that night. At least those pic's are in my head!!

So Dave is Vice Chair of ITSA? That sounds like something out of a Star Wars movie :)
Sounds like a good time. I haven't been since high school.
