So here we are on the road. I don't read Spanish either, good thing David knows how to. They have toll roads every where you travel. Costing from $1 to $5 dollars. We had the most tinest car ever. Barley fit out luggage. Then we had to fit Jaren's in. We were tucked in tight to the car. But that's how they are. Small cars.

Ok so choose your lane!!! How fast do you want to go???? Seriously! The motorcycles were in the 130-120 lane. FAST is all I can say. It was a bit intimidating.

Here we are in the streets of Rosario. I'm just so glad David was the driver. The rules of driving as we know really don't apply there. You just have to be very aggressive to get where your going. We did have Jaren be our chauffeur when we got to the mission home. He has a license there.

Here we are in the Mission home with Jaren's Mission President President and Sister Villalba. He is from Paraguay. She is from Bolivia.

Bags packed and ready to go home. And a few other missionary's as well.

The grounds of the Mission home. So beautiful.

Jaren telling us how you cook outside on the fire pit. He loved how the Mission Presidents wife cooked.

Front of the Mission Home

Jaren saying his goodbyes to some of his missionary friends.

Here are some of the Missionary's that are going home and some that work in the Mission office. Jaren did work in the Mission office for 5 months. He was the Mission President secretary. He loved the opportunity to serve there.

Ok glad I am not a boy. This was in a gas station for the men's room.

This is a family in Rafaela. These girls were sooo beautiful.

Jaren baptised the mom in this family. Sadly she is not very active at the moment. But when we left the Husband gave Jaren a family picture off the wall that his grandmother painted on canvas
He wanted Jaren to have it so that he could remember the family. I cried.....

Here is another family that Jaren baptised in Rafaela. Susanna and Carlos. They were really active in the beginning, but have fallen away. They just loved Jaren and was sooo excited to see him before we went home. Their children were never baptised but supported their Mom and Dad.

Eating dinner at 11:00 at night! Cute place.

Welcome to La Paz. This was a fun town. We got some beautiful pictures while we were here.

Jaren wants a bathroom just like this!

Jaren drinking Ma'te (ma-tay). Its a herbal tea that Argentine people drink. In the winters months they have it hot. In the summer months they serve it cold. Dave and I really enjoyed this tea.

This is Catalina and Lisandro, not married but members of the branch in La Paz, we were at her home and at 11:00 at night she decided to make us dinner. It was so wonderful! Lisandro serves his branch so much. He is a wonderful man. She feeds the missionary's a lot. Jaren Baptised her son while serving in La Paz

This is another meal Catalina made for us. It was lunch

This is out on Catalina's family farm. Her mother and father farm on the land. We had a fun day out there.

SNAKE! It was on the farm. We saw 3 of them

This is Catalina's Mother and her Sister in law and her niece and nephew

This is in La Paz

Beautiful sunset in La Paz

Another family in La Paz who fed us.

Jaren got to know these boys really well. They were close to his age. He remembers being 16-17. They just enjoyed being around Jaren. Their dad was soo funny!

Fun times on our road trip

Wal-marts are even in Argentina!!

And David managed to find a place that sells knives and talked hunting with this gentleman

David is playing Uno with this little guy. We are in Rifino. This little boy got baptised while we were there.

Streets of Rifino

This is the baptisimal font in the branch in Rifino. It was leaking water.

This is where the branch meets for church. They are renting out a bank to use for a church building.

The Missionarys were boiling water to not make the water sooooo cold!

Jaren was this missionarys companion. And Jaren was training him. He was only out for 6 weeks. He is from Ogden Ut.

These girls came for the baptism. And some of them were in love with Jaren.

Some of the branch members of Rifino.

Jaren was teaching this family when he left. I don't know if they will join the church. They are very poor. Jaren one day saw the husband digging the ground to build his house. So Jaren and his companion decided to help him. The man had a hard time understanding why they would do this. So Jaren would talk with him and had him understand service. Unfortunally they are unable to finsish building their house. Their daughter had to have heart surgury and all their money went to that. They are a very humble family and again loved Jaren and just cryed when haveing to say goodbye to him.

Another family. She is a member but not active.

And this is the house Jaren helped build for them. Its tiny. But thats how all the house in Argentina are.

Yep there are flamigos in Argentina

When we were driving back to the airport the GPS had us get off way to early and we got lost in Buenos Aires. We drove around trying to get back on the freeway to get to the airport. Then we saw the Temple and then we knew where we were at. And we got back on the freeway and headed to the airport.

Jaren being greeted by family and friends in the Phoenix airport

Saying hello to Devin for the first time in 2 yrs. Devin went to Brazil on his mission

Jory talking with Jaren and introducing his new sister in law to him. It was sweet......

And Jaren meeting another new member to the family Breken, his new nephew. And Breken was only 3 weeks old.

This is Brittney and I. I was sooo excited to see my little one. I know he missed his Mi Mi. It was fun to hold him again.

This is Jaren's friend Taylor and Jacob bringing in Jaren's luggage. Jaren came home to a new house.

Jaren getting his first view of the house.

Jaren just feeling out his bed! It never felt so good

We asked Jaren what he wanted for his first lunch home! Sonic it was!

Jaren handed out his gifts to the family that he brought back from Argentina

Now the fun begins. Let your hair down and play in the pool!

I loved the opportunity to go to Argentina. It truely opens up your eyes as to how another country lives. Jaren lived in some very poor areas. But he never complained. He truely learned how to serve the lord. We americans take so much for granted. Jaren is better at feeling that his home is ok to live in. He felt guilty haveing such a big house to come home to. The size of our kitchen is how big some of the homes the Argentine people live in. I know I saw them. But the people were happy. I hope Jaren will take the opportunity and go back and visit. He has grown up so much in 2 yrs. He is back in the swing of things. Bought him a truck, working with his dad and going to school.
