Dave was having a missionary reunion in Salt Lake on conference weekend. It has been 35 yrs since he was on his mission. They have a website on Facebook and he was able to see some of his old friends from his mission. The plan was to meet on Friday the 30th of March and attend a temple session then start the reunion later in the evening. So Dave and I headed out on Thursday morning, but before we even got out the door he had a call from a customer and he was to be at our shop at 10am with another customer and he wanted him there. Haha I said what day is that planed? Uh he said today! He said sorry but I need to be there. Long story short we never left Az till 3 pm! So we drove to Richfield Ut slept for 4 hrs and drove to the Temple. It was a long day but a beautiful day. When we got done with the Temple session we headed back to the stake center where the reunion was being held. They had about 250 missionary in attended. And they fed us as well! One of the missionary's wanted to serve us and he did a very good job. It was great to see Dave reconnect and reminisce about his mission.

Love this Temple. The Salt Lake Temple is so beautiful.

This is a typical thing for Dave to be doing business before we go and do anything! I know work has to come first and then all will be well! There was a lot going on that day and from the previous day before we left!

The friend on the far right of David is Kay Richins. He is from Ut. One of Dave's really good friends. The other gentleman is Edward...can't remember his last name. He is from England. He was the one who mastered this reunion. Great man! Kay Richins said before he left that he told his son that you will make friends through out your life. But your true friends come from your mission and they will be your best friends for life. So true. I see that in my own two boys who have served missions and their best friends are the ones who they served with.
