Breken Playing!

Here is the B-rek playing in my room! He is such a hoot to watch him. He is getting so big and learning so much. He is 13 months now.

He looks so different with his new haircut

He really thinks he can pick that watermelon up!

Roskelley Rendezvous 2011

It was fun this year to be able to make it to my family reunion. Its been like 6 yrs since I have been. Its on my Dads side of the family. It took some getting there but I made it. Its just so weird to see everyone. I think that only a couple of years have past on seeing some of them, but in reality its much much longer. Like seeing some of my cousins kids which the last time I saw them they were small. Well now they are grown up. Or some who had no kids have a couple of kids!! But its fun to see the cousins who you grew up with and just enjoy being with them again and chatting. These two ladies below me are my Dad's sisters. They are the only ones left out of my Dad's family who is left. Aunt Nettie and Aunt Karen. Not everyone makes it every year but its fun to see those that can come.

This is a song we add each year and we sing it. Its of some of the things that happen while we are together.

This is Aunt Nettie giving out awards for various things. Usually we have a fishing contest but the creek was so high this year and running fast so we did not do it. But its fun to see the little ones get a trophy.

I blogged earlier about cousins and this is my cousin who I spent a lot of summers with when I was little. My brother Dave and Lisa and I are all the same age. I have other cousins that are siblings to Lisa that we played with as well but I did not get a picture of them.

The reunion came to an end really early due to a storm that came in. We picked up sooo fast and away we went down Smithfield Canyon. So David my brother was on his motorcycle and we had to stop at my Aunt Netties house and hold out for a bit till it passed.

This is David going down main street in Brigham City.

Now My brother Dave took us down where they are building the Brigham City Temple. It was beautiful because the storm just past as we were coming into town. This is the Tabernacle across the street from where the new Temple is being built.

I was lucky to have got in the rainbow

Here is the Temple. It just looked so beautiful coming down the hill and seeing this with the sunset setting and the storm that just passed.

Haboob!!

Jaren was sooo lucky to get these pictures at our house when the Haboob came through! Now this happened when Dave and I were heading our way to UT for a family reunion. And when I got on facebook this was the talk of Phoenix!! It did make a mess at our house. Our pool is suffering from all the dust and dirt that came with it as well as my windows to. A Haboob is an intense sand storm. Jaren was so fascinated with the fact that it was daylight and with in minutes it was dark. Dang so sorry that I missed it!
