Girls Camp

Girls camp was from June 14-18. We had a great time at girls camp. Me as a leader was really surprised by NOT any drama there. My last experience at Girls Camp was me sending her home. Not with this stake, my old one and I had just been released as the Young Women President and the new one could not go. So I was the lucky one who stood in for all the fun. Its sad she knew what she was doing to push peoples buttons. And she was so lucky to have me as a leader there cause I did not take the crap so lightly!! But that is in the past. And this girls camp was not at Lomia either. That's the only place I have been with the girls. So this was a new adventure for me. Taylor Ranch up in Pindale AZ. Camping in tents. It s a good thing tenting is nothing new to me. We got down and dirty I will have to say!!! But what wonderful girls I had to spend my time with. The 4th yr girls ages14-15 were on their own camp adventure. So we had 11 girls with 5 leaders in our camp site. We had 3 YCL that lead camp singing and other activities from our ward but spent the time with the other girls their age as YCL in their own tent.. We had great weather. WINDY I will have to say!!! Just more dirt to spread on your body!! But what a wonderful spirit was brought with these girls who came to learn and have fun. I did two days of hikes with these girls. First with the 3rd yr the second day with the 1st yr girls. It was a really fun time to really get to know all these girls. Such good girls! Next yr they will have the pioneer trek for 14 and up. So there will be no girls camp. And more then likely we will not be leaders to go with the next set of girls. So I had a great opportunity to see a different way of how a different stake does things and as a ward. Won't complain.

Cousins

While we were in Ut for Megan's wedding it was fun for Jaylyn to visit with her cousins she grew up with. They have a lot of memories of summer fun when we would take the kids to Ut for the summer. So it was really fun to see The "B" making new friends with his cousin. Though he won't remember to much of this visit but he is getting more aware of kids his own age around him. Its great to see him interact with them.

Here is Jaylyn and Cheri who are the same age. With their baby's. and Grandma and Shah. Its so amazing to see this two girls with kids of their own.

Here we are outside playing at Megan and Dan's wedding. These kids belong to Cheri, Brandi

Brandi has twin boys. I was trying so hard to get a good group pic of all these cousins together

Here is Jacob Dana's youngest child in the front

Now another set of cousins. On my side of the family. These kids belong to my nieces Jessica and Angie. These kids are a hoot!! Cash, Stetson, Sawyer, and Miss Avery, and the "B" Another fun day with cousins!

Having fun and being silly! I hope that when Breken gets bigger he will recognize all his cousins and make memories with them like his Mama (Jaylyn) did with her cousins. I have tons of memories with my cousins who live in Smithfield UT of all the summers we as kids would go to my Grandma's house and play on the farm with them. Cousins and summer is what its all about.

Family Wedding~ Megan and Dan

On June 7th my niece Megan Tutt became Megan Anderson. She married Dan Anderson. He is a really nice guy. What a beautiful day for a wedding. Ut weather has been soooo crazy. You just don't know what you will get when you wake up. So Jaylyn and I drove up to Ut with the B-rek. He did good. We broke it up into two days. Dave was unable to make it he had his high adventure scout activity camp out. And Jory and Jaren had to stay at work....

I love the Temple grounds. They are just so peaceful and beautiful. Breken was good. Other then throwing up in the kids room....lol

PAM'S big 50th Birthday!!!

Yep Its my birthday!! The big 50!!!! Its here! Really??? I don't feel 50! And that's the best part. I don't feel it. Now I won't forget how old I am any more. Can't forget that number. I was at girls camp celebrating my birthday. And really it was sweet. My big celebration for my birthday was going on our Caribbean Cruise!!!! I won't forget that trip. But I'm blessed to share my birthday with my twin David. I did get to see him before our birthday. We don't really get an opportunity to be with each other on are birthdays since we live in two different states. And what was really funny this year neither one of us was home with family on our birthdays. He was on a road trip with his son in law Harley on their Harley motorcycle's. They went to Nebraska and South Dakota and other places. So we did call and leave birthday wishes to each other.

This is Dave and I in May. He has a very good lookin motorcycle

Now this is what I got Saturday afternoon when I got home from girls camp. Whooo when I opened the door I was like WOW! 50 roses. Now at a past Valentines I got the flowers that were called "Oh my gosh" These exceed far more. So pretty and smelled wonderful. Only my Mr. Wright Wonderful would do this for me!! I'm blessed to have him in my life.

Now I got to celebrate with David with the family on Fathers Day for my birthday. We got to celebrate together. And what a surprise we had Shah with us. She is David's youngest sister Dana's daughter. She spent a week with us.

Seriously these two boys whats up???? Jaren and Dave Hatch

My birthday gift from the kids

Dave's father gift from me. He loves watches

Now the story in this party. David surprised me with a birthday party the next day after Fathers day! And I will say he really surprised me. He had Jaylyn lure me away with her on some errands. And I had no clue at the point. Jaren and David were mowing the lawn in really hot weather!! Getting the place in shape. Still no clue. David said he had plans for us to go out to a movie or dinner for the night. Still no clue. And when we came down our dirt drive way I saw all these vehicles in our driveway. And me saying "Who the hell is at our house'??? Cause I thought Jaren had invited a whole bunch of people over to swim or what ever with me not knowing...then as we get closer to the house I spot a car I know. Linda from work. Its a purple box car. I know who that belongs to. Then I just laughed and said I know whats going on. Jay was still playing along. I don't know what you mean. Indeed Indeed it was a surprise to me to see my friends in the house greeting me. Laci and Cheryl, Rachel, the kids. Linda and Randy, Jay and his wife from work. John, and so many others. Mr. Wright you did it again. What a great surprise. He went and got crab legs and steaks to b-Que. What a fun night!! David said he wanted to surprise me with my 50th birthday! Well he did. Great night with family and friends.. So I think I'm done partying for now.

Brittney made me my cupcakes. They tasted wonderful!!!

Well here I am 50 and feeling nifty!! I hope the next 50 are just as wonderful as I feel now!!

Breken's 1st Birthday!!

It's always fun to celebrate when they have their very first birthday!! And we had so much fun celebrating The "B" Mr. B's The B-rek's birhtday. He is a cutie patutie! He walked at 11 months. And he is really spoiled for being the first grand baby!! But that's OK! He really is a joy to have with us. He really is a good baby. We still keep telling Jaylyn you just don't know how good you have it. Cam and Janica were able to come and visit and help celebrate his birthday. It's just so weird to think that a year has gone by already. Things were so crazy last yr at this time. Waiting the arrival him Breken, and then Dave and I flying off to Argentina to pick up Jaren from his mission.. Anyway he is ONE and we all fun celebrating it!!

Jaylyn made a cake for Breken for his other birthday party with Jacobs family in Coolidge. Jay did a fantastic job in making his cake.

Now Cam made the other one. He has some hidden talents we all did not know about. Cake 2 was for the Wright party. It was fun to watch both of these two make cakes for Breken. Cam has never made a cake. He made the frosting to. It was yummy!

The finished cake! The tooth picks are for when we put a wrap on the cake so it would not touch it.

We had a swim party. Uncle Jory teaching him how to swim

He loves the water. So does Uncle Jory

This is what all the kids (Jory, Britt, Cam, Janica, Jaren) gave to him. His first slide

Uncle Cam teaching the "B" some moves. How sexy is your body!!! So hilarious!

Time for the gifts...

He had fun opening them

The moment we all wait for, to see if he will like his cake. AND he did. He loved the taste of the frosting. Cam made it with whipping cream and chocolate pudding. So it was not so sweet as the regular frosting. And he liked the taste of his cake

Breken had a really good two days to celebrate his birthday. It was fun to have the family all together and welcome in his first yr of life. What a joy this boy has brought to ALL of us. Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents he has us all wrapped around his finger. But wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Birthday My B-rek Love your Mimi and Papa!!
