It's really not a good idea to sew and decorate at the same time. And then when you have a 2yr old around as well. I was wanting since September to put Halloween up this yr. I was just excited for halloween this yr. So Dave pulled it out right at the time Jaylyn and I are trying to sew some blankets for family members to take to Utah. Jay and I somewhat procrastinated on our projects to get done. So push came to shove and we only had a few days to finish them.
This is Breken's favorite Halloween decoration. I have it on my phone recorded so that he can listen to it. It has a giggle and vibrates and then it say's Happy Halloween. He just laughs everytime he hears it. So we heard this go off to many times that night! I finally had to put it up.
I really don't know how to sew. So I have to ask Jaylyn a lot of questions! Haha I know she gets frustrated with me. But I wanted to make a strip quilt and she wanted to make her square one. We have never done a strip one before.
Here is Jaylyn's finished project. It was made for Allyssa our cousin who is due with Beckerman Nov 1st. She made a car seat cover and this blanket. They both turned out really nice. OK my project turned out...ahh OK....It was my first blanket on my own. All I can say it was made with love!! It was for our really close friend Corrianne's baby Paxton. I was suppose to have 8 strips which Jaylyn and I thought we cut out but I only sewed 7 strips! I have know idea what happened. It's made with love really!!! It was not even on the strips sewn. HAHAH Its kinda funny in a way. But I do want to make another one and see if I can do better!
