This is how I spent my morning at the doctors office trying to find out what kind of allergies I have. For me who really never gets sick, or has never had a problem with allergies just my asthma. This has been trying. The first of Feb I started itching really bad with my head and neck. Then went to my arms and I saw red bumps and seriously thought I had bed bugs. Maybe from the apt we lived in for 5 months. Well I gave my bed a cleaning!!! Wow I was determined to get them!! Then I went on to flees from Tawni!! Well my better half was soo good with me he checked the bed NO bed bugs!! But a very clean mattress, sheets, comforter, down blanket we have!! And NO flees either!! And Tawni is sooo clean her self as well. So we go from detergents, cleaning supplies, shampoos, ah a whole week of trying to find out what the hec is going on. And by then I had a rash all over my body. Arms, back of my legs, ankles, chest, back, stomach. I was really stubborn and did not want to go to the doctors to be told I don't know what it is either. But after 3 weeks of feeling like crap and taking Benadryl and it was not doing a dang thing I went in. The nurse practitioner said what I thought she was going to say duh! Put me on 10mg of Prednisone for 10 days. And an allergy medicine called Xyzal. Well the Prednisone did help with the hives as well as Xysal. Felt good one day. But that one day did not last long and then I Stopped the Prednisone cause I just swelled up so bad. And come to find out I had some what of a reaction to the Xyzal. So I quit both. Then I was having episodes as to light headiness and almost passed out at the gym one day. Felt very stupid. So with the help of my Janica telling to go back to the doctors I did. I was not to stubborn that time. Went and saw a different doctor this time, explained all the allergy problems to him what I was on and stopped taking.....he said I had vertigo. With all the allergy's that were in me it was all related. He said he had diagnosed 8 other cases this month with the same systems and was pretty sure of it and gave me a prescription for the dizziness I had experienced which was Mexlizine. Well I took that on a Monday night just like it said to take at bedtime. And was advised to get at least 8 hrs of sleep. Well I did have 8 hrs of sleep could not get up the next morning. Once I did felt like dead lead! Got going went to the gym..barley made it through a 45 minute workout on the elliptical went to work to see David. He was not there. Decided to go home. Barley made it from the fog I was in. Got in the house took my shoes off! Layed on the love sac and crashed the whole entire day away!! Slept pretty good till 5. Got up had some dinner. Felt like crap still. Got showered to meet the RS Presidency to visit me. And went to bed again and slept. And did the same thing on Weds afternoon. It took me 2 days to get that out of my system. I will not take that medicine ever again unless I need to sleep!! So I was sooo happy to go to the allergy doc today and find out what is up with me!! He did the poke me test as you can see. The first one that welted up was Bermuda grass. Then cats. Duh I KNOW I'm allergic to them for sure!! Then some weeds and mold stuff outside. I need to go back next week and do more. But I do hope I'm going in the right direction. I have mowed the lawn twice here all in that time period of breaking out. I believe its the outside that is bothering me. My asthma is not really bothering me yet to bad. Ah I'm itching really bad as I'm writing this now!!!! I hope we have and end to this!! Soon!
